Solid adult relations program

print email

Staff can be solid role models for students by demonstrating agreed ways to enhance their relationships with other staff members. Strategies for modelling solid behaviours to students can include:

  • communicating among adults and students in the school community
  • training and supporting all staff to model social skills and problem solving skills
  • establishing a guideline of ‘no put-downs’
  • making an agreement on how staff are to treat each other

This creates a solid environment in the school. Students and their families are more likely to display and experience solid relationships and attitudes.
